Every organization is unique and has its own culture and way of doing things.

I believe one of the main roles of a consultant is to provide  his or her own experience to assist and facilitate the client's own employees in the discovery, design and implementation of solutions and thereby improve their company's  performance based largely on their own ideas. Buy-in and sustainability is much more achievable this way. 

Facilitation helps unlock the creativity and power of teamwork whilst ensuring efficiency. 
In negotiations, facilitation triangulates between the parties to enable mutually 
satisfactory outcomes in an efficient and orderly manner. 
The playing field is kept level at all times. 

My modus operandi is firmly underpinned by facilitation of in-house teams, as I believe the best and most acceptable solutions for a company's problems can be found in the minds of their own employees.
